I\u2019m rolling with Fiorot here all day. She\u2019s just the more complete and dangerous striker, and the physical difference is going to be obvious from the opening minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fiorot fights like a sniper. She\u2019s constantly bouncing on her toes, cutting angles, and staying just outside of range always forcing her opponent to reach. Her kickboxing is clean, powerful, and built on timing. She\u2019s great at controlling range with side kicks and blitzing forward with that karate-ish style explosion that most girls in this division just can\u2019t handle. She\u2019s bigger, stronger, and when she lets her hands go, it\u2019s sharp and precise with no waste of energy. She picks her shots and resets right back to her stance before anything comes back at her. Add in her takedown defense and balance, and you\u2019ve got one of the hardest styles to prepare for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s a major problem for Jasmine Jasudavicius because her whole game depends on being able to pressure, close distance, and get her hands on you. She\u2019s at her best when she\u2019s bullying opponents to the cage, chaining takedowns, and making it ugly. But that kind of style doesn\u2019t work when you\u2019re chasing someone who\u2019s faster, hits harder, and moves like Fiorot does. Jasmine\u2019s footwork is more linear; she marches forward, which works against girls who stay in front of her. Against Fiorot, that\u2019s walking into a trap. Every time she tries to step in, she\u2019s going to eat kicks, straight shots, and counters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even if Jasmine somehow gets inside, Fiorot\u2019s strength and balance make her extremely tough to get down. And on the feet, it\u2019s not close. Fiorot\u2019s striking looks levels cleaner. Jasmine\u2019s tough and gritty, no doubt, but this is one of those fights where toughness won\u2019t be enough to close the skill gap.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
