Rodriguez has solid hands. He\u2019s got that slick boxing rhythm, throws in combinations, and he\u2019s comfortable in the pocket. But the big issue is that he\u2019s kind of a stationary target once he\u2019s in motion. He throws, but his feet stay planted\u2014and that\u2019s a huge problem against someone like Holland, who\u2019s constantly moving, switching stances, sliding in and out of range with ease. Holland\u2019s ability to cover distance quickly, and his comfort throwing from weird angles, is going to throw Rodriguez off rhythm early and often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And it\u2019s not just the movement. Holland\u2019s accurate with his shots whether he\u2019s kicking from the outside, firing a counter, or scrapping in close. Rodriguez is hittable, and if you give Holland clean looks for too long, the power\u2019s eventually going to show. He doesn\u2019t need volume to hurt you\u2014just timing and space, and Rodriguez is going to give him both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This isn\u2019t a fight where grappling is going to save anybody. Rodriguez isn\u2019t a threat to take this down, and Holland\u2019s not going to shoot unless he absolutely has to. So we\u2019re looking at a straight-up striking battle, and in that type of fight, Holland\u2019s range, speed, and variety are going to be too much. Eventually, he\u2019s going to tag Rodriguez with something big, and with how Rodriguez hangs around in the pocket too long, it\u2019s only a matter of time before one of those shots puts him down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
