Prediction: Patchy Mix (Winner)
Mix is more patient, doesn’t waste shots, and when he lands it’s with way more intent. Wiklacz, on the other hand, fights like he’s got a fast-forward button stuck. The second that bell rings, he’s forcing exchanges, trying to overwhelm, but there’s no real setup behind it. That leaves his defense completely exposed, and against someone as composed as Mix, those holes are going to be there all night.
Mix isn’t just going to stand back and let him run wild either. He’s calm enough to see the openings and smart enough to punish them. On the feet, I fully expect him to tag Wiklacz clean, and if he decides to switch gears and bring the fight to the mat, that’s where he’s a different animal altogether. His jiu-jitsu is suffocating, and unlike Wiklacz who burns energy by forcing action, Mix knows how to control pace, pick his spots, and capitalize when opportunities present themselves.
So even though Wiklacz will come out hard and aggressive, that actually plays straight into Mix’s game. He’s more polished and patient. This looks like a fight where Mix can either piece him up on the feet or drag him into deep waters and put him away on the mat. Either way, he’s got the tools to take over and make it clear why he believes he is one of the best.
