Prediction: Manon Fiorot via Decision
I’m rolling with Fiorot here all day. She’s just the more complete and dangerous striker, and the physical difference is going to be obvious from the opening minute.
Fiorot fights like a sniper. She’s constantly bouncing on her toes, cutting angles, and staying just outside of range always forcing her opponent to reach. Her kickboxing is clean, powerful, and built on timing. She’s great at controlling range with side kicks and blitzing forward with that karate-ish style explosion that most girls in this division just can’t handle. She’s bigger, stronger, and when she lets her hands go, it’s sharp and precise with no waste of energy. She picks her shots and resets right back to her stance before anything comes back at her. Add in her takedown defense and balance, and you’ve got one of the hardest styles to prepare for.
That’s a major problem for Jasmine Jasudavicius because her whole game depends on being able to pressure, close distance, and get her hands on you. She’s at her best when she’s bullying opponents to the cage, chaining takedowns, and making it ugly. But that kind of style doesn’t work when you’re chasing someone who’s faster, hits harder, and moves like Fiorot does. Jasmine’s footwork is more linear; she marches forward, which works against girls who stay in front of her. Against Fiorot, that’s walking into a trap. Every time she tries to step in, she’s going to eat kicks, straight shots, and counters.
Even if Jasmine somehow gets inside, Fiorot’s strength and balance make her extremely tough to get down. And on the feet, it’s not close. Fiorot’s striking looks levels cleaner. Jasmine’s tough and gritty, no doubt, but this is one of those fights where toughness won’t be enough to close the skill gap.
