Prediction: Ibo Aslan via TKO
He’s explosive, confident, and when he touches you clean, it changes the whole fight. On the feet, there’s levels to this—and Elekana just doesn’t have the weapons or durability to stand and trade with a guy like Aslan.
That said, I’m staying off the bet. Why? Because Aslan still has major questions when it comes to his defensive grappling, and Elekana’s absolutely going to test that. Billy’s not the most technical striker, but he doesn’t need to be. And if Aslan’s takedown defense hasn’t leveled up? That could turn into a problem real quick.
Aslan’s going to have to show he can stay off his back or work back to his feet without gassing out, especially if Elekana keeps chaining attempts and staying glued to him. But if he can stuff the early shots and keep it upright? It’s a wrap. Elekana’s striking defense isn’t built to handle someone with Aslan’s power and the second Aslan lands something clean, it’s going to be over.
So yeah, I’m on Aslan. He’s the more dangerous fighter by a mile and has made strides with his pacing and cardio. But until we see how he handles sustained grappling pressure from someone who really wants to test that part of his game, it’s a little too risky to slam money on it.
